Waterloo-Wellington MPP Ted Arnott says that the Kitchener-Conestoga
Provincial Liberal Association is blatantly selling
access to key Provincial Cabinet Ministers with its
fundraising event tonight.
“According
to today’s Record, this fundraising event promises
‘up close and personal time’ with three Ministers
including the Finance Minister Greg Sorbara in exchange
for a $250 ticket,” said Mr. Arnott. “This is wrong.
No one should have to spend $250 to have their idea
or concern considered by the Provincial Government.”
“It’s
no wonder they’ve only been able to sell 55 tickets
with this kind of underhanded sales pitch. This is
the kind of thing that turns good people off of the
whole political process,” Mr. Arnott concluded.
