Funding Increase for Groves Memorial Hospital

Ontario's Minister of Health Tony Clement has announced that the Ontario Government has increased funding for the Groves Memorial Hospital by $809,300. This 8.4 per cent increase brings their total base funding for 2002/03 to $10,387,426.

"The Board and staff of Groves Memorial Hospital are to be congratulated for the excellent work that they do and for their success in obtaining this increase in funding," said Waterloo-Wellington MPP Ted Arnott.

"Clearly health care spending is a priority for our Government. This enhanced funding represents an even stronger commitment to health care that should help maintain and improve health care in Waterloo-Wellington," he added.
